mixed feelings about the stay
street noise toilet malfunction
The street noise was a real issue at night. I woke up several times. our toilet had a malfunction too, which wasn't fun. i was hoping for a quieter and more functional experience, to be honest.

EXCELLENT experience!
convenient location main museums easy access
I found the location VERY convenient. It was close to museums like Lope de Vega and Reina Sofia. I could easily walk to Puerta del Sol for shopping at El Corte Ingles. Plaza Mayor offered more tapas and sangria at the terrazas.
The room's cleanliness was acceptable, but the installations seemed a bit old.

The hotel is near Plaza StAna and Teatro Español. I found this area one of the best. It is close to the Prado Museum. Puerta del Sol is also very accessible.

superb location amazing staff working air conditioning small bathroom poor sound insulation missing slippers
The hotel had a superb location and it's near all the action. The staff was amazing and kind, they helped me all the time. The air conditioning worked properly. It kept the room very cool.
The bathroom was a tiny, I felt cramped. The sound insulation in my room was not good and I hear a lot of street noise. There were no slippers or robes available in my room.
